You'll need:
  • 50g of butter.
  • 1/4 litre of chicken stock.
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 1 glass of port wine.
  • A container.
  • A whisk.
  • Microwave.
Steps to follow:

The first thing to do when making port sauce is to heat up chicken stock to a simmer or microwave for a few minutes.

Once you have warm stock, you have to mix it with flour and whisk it all together. You must whisk until the flour is fully integrated and smooth.

When the flour is well mixed in with the broth, the next step is to put the mixture in the microwave for 2 minutes at 780W.

After two minutes, you have to go back to whisking the mixture and then put it back in the microwave for 1 minute at 780W.

Finally, remove the bowl from the microwave and add the butter and port wine. Mix everything well until you have a smooth sauce. And voila! Now you have your port sauce to accompany your meat dishes.
