Who said you always need to use the oven to make delicious desserts? There are a large number of desert options which are perfect for any occasion and which can be prepared easily and without the help of household appliances. At OneHowTo we want to give you a great recipe: an apple pie that does not require oven baking, which you can make at home quickly and simply with the help of a microwave. It is so easy to make this apple pie without an oven that in less than half an hour you will have it ready to eat. To start you must choose a suitable mould that is microwave safe and preferably of a round shape. Grease the mould with some butter.
Clean well and peel the three Fuji apples. If you cannot find these kind of apples use red ones with an acidic taste. Cut the apple into slices then chop each slice in half to end up with a semi-circular shape. Put them aside.
Melt the 2 spoonfuls of butter and once liquid, mix it in a container with the corn starch, eggs, milk, sugar and yeast. Mix well with a food processor or electric whisk until a homogeneous mixture emerges.
Then pour the mix into the previously greased mould and place the chopped apples evenly and covering all the top of the mix Place your apple pie in the microwave at power 800W for 5 minutes - no oven needed. Once the time has elapsed leave it to rest for a couple of minutes inside the microwave and then cook it for a further 5 minutes on the same heat.
After the cooking time is complete, prod the pie with a knife; if it comes out clean the pie is ready. Otherwise you can cook it for a further 2 minutes.
Once the apple pie is cooked we only need to give it a final touch by glazing the apples with the jam. Leave to cool and then keep it in the fridge. You can serve the pie together with whipped cream or mounted Chantilly cream to give this yummy desert a final touch.
