The first step to prepare the tofu veggie balls is to crumble the tofu with your hands. If you do not want to get dirty use a kitchen utensil such as a wooden spoon or fork to help make a paste from the tofu.

Then we will prepare the sauce for our vegetarian meatballs; for this, clean and chop the carrot and onion. Put a splash of oil to heat in a pan and when hot, take these ingredients and sauté for approximately 10 minutes. Then add the mushrooms, also chopped, and fry everything together for a couple of minutes.

When the sauce is ready, remove from heat and pour it into a container where we will add the crumbled tofu. Here we also have to add the remaining ingredients: bread crumbs, parsley, crushed garlic, sesame seeds, salt, pepper and soy sauce to taste.

The next step in the fried tofu balls recipe is to make a single mass of all the ingredients that we have put together in the previous step; if you think it needs to be a bit thicker add a extra tablespoon of flour. When well mixed, form the balls from the dough in whatever size you want your veggie balls to be.

With all the balls prepared, batter them with flour before frying. Because the texture will already be moist we will not need a beaten egg, just pass the balls over the flour and this will stick to it.

The last step is to fry the fried tofu balls, for this we must add sufficient oil to the frying pan. When very hot add the veggie balls and wait until cooked on both sides. Afterwards, take them out of the oil and place on a plate with absorbent kitchen paper to remove the excess oil. Ready to eat!
