This is super easy to prepare and, more importantly, is delicious. This is a recipe with bread that is sure to delight the little ones. It is made by coating and frying this bread to make ham and cheese rolls that they will love. It is a typical dish from Cordoba (Southern Spain) and all that's needed to bring this dish together are:

  • 4 slices of bread without crust
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

Instructions

First use a rolling pin to make each slice of bread very thin. Then, all that's needed is to place the ham and cheese on each slice. When that's done, simply roll them up.

Next, beat and egg and prepare a plate with breadcrumbs and dip the rolls first in the egg and then the crumbs. Then fill a pan with plenty of oil and, when hot, fry the flamenquines until they turn a lovely golden brown. Bon appetite!

Mini pizzas with bread

If one day you do not fancy cooking and have few ingredients in your pantry, you can prepare a delicious bread recipe. The bread in this recipe will form the base for a pizza. In less than 15 minutes you can enjoy a tasty and perfect dish for the whole family. You'll need:

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 small glass of fried tomato sauce
  • 50g of mozzarella
  • Toppings of your choice (ham, bacon, olives, tuna, etc.)
  • Oregano
  • Grated cheese

Instructions

Start by preheating the oven to 180 °C. Then place the bread in the oven on a tray wrapped in silver foil. Then place a bit of tomato sauce on the bread with a brush or a small spoon.

Now place the mozzarella on top of the tomato and then add the other toppings. Make sure you don't pile too much on top as the break could give and end up breaking apart. When you've added all your toppings, sprinkle a bit of grated cheese on top and a little bit of oregano.

Finally, place the tray in the preheated oven and leave to cook at the same temperature for exactly 10 minutes. Then remove and serve immediately. They are delicious!

Smoked salmon rolls

A perfect alternative for cold canapés is this fabulous recipe explained below. Besides being a quick and easy dish to make, it is also a gastronomic delight that is sure to delight your guests. It is ideal served as starters or as an accompaniment for dinners you prepare at home. To prepare it you need:

  • 4 slices of bread without crust
  • 4 slices of smoked salmon
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • Half a lime
  • Thyme

Instructions

Start by squeezing the lime until you get plenty of juice. Then mix with the cream cheese in a bowl, stirring well so that all the flavours blend. Add the thyme and stir so that the flavour of the herb is spread through the mixture.

Now, take a roll and knead and crush until the slices of bread are thin and flat. Then spread the abovementioned mixture on top. When ready, add a slice of smoked salmon on each slice.

To finish, roll up each slice taking care that the bread does not break. To make it more secure, you could tie with parsley, coriander or pierce with a cocktail stick that you could top with a cherry tomato. Delicious and very fast!

Monte Cristo sandwich

This other recipe with bread is delicious. It is a the Monte Cristo sandwich, a type of sandwich that originates in North America and which is based on another sandwich of French origin - the "croque-monsieur".   • 2 slices of bread
  • Mozzarella
  • Turkey slices
  • Butter
  • Milk
  • 1 egg
  • Salt
  • Maple syrup or jam

Instructions

Start by placing a slice of ham and of cheese on each slice of bread. Place another slice of bread on top and squash it down so that the bread thins out and it is all well integrated. When finished, put to one side. Then mix the milk, egg and a little salt and whisk until you have a homogeneous mixture. Then, dip the ham and cheese sandwich in this mixture, covering it completely.

Now, put the butter in a skillet and simmer and wait for it to melt. When ready, place the sandwich in the pan and flip on either side until both sides are a lovely golden colour. For the perfect final touch, spread on some honey or jam and there it is, perfect for breakfast or as a snack!
