Steps to follow:

1

The first thing you must do to start making chocolate frosting is beat the Butter in a blender or food processor or by hand with a spoon. We recommend you take out the butter from the refrigerator a few minutes before starting to prepare the frosting to soften it and make it easier to work with.

2

To make the frosting for cakes or cupcakes, start gradually adding the icing sugar. It is very important not to put too much in at once so it's easier to beat the mixture. Beat butter with the sugar until it forms a smooth mixture. You will see, the result is a yellowish paste, with a light frothy texture.

You should use 1 cup of melted chocolate If using milk chocolate, take milk off your list of ingredients.

When the cocoa is mixed in completely, add milk, vanilla and a pinch of salt and whisk everything so that all ingredients are well integrated and thus get a smooth paste.
