How To Make Unleavened Pizza Dough
There are few things nicer than pizza, and making delicious homemade pizza is very comforting.
Let's make a homemade unleavened pizza , a dough which is obviously very thin as it contains no raising agent. I recommend you make this dough if you have never made a homemade pizza and you want to make an easy pizza dough. We'll move on to the ingredients and then get into the preparation.
Ingredients:
Steps to follow:
The first step we'll take to make our own unleavened pizza will be to measure 300 grams of flour and put it in a bowl.
We do the same with the water... Remember that 200 cc is equivalent to 200 ml.
Slowly add the oil, salt, sugar and gradually add the water to make the dough wet, beating with a spoon.
Once you add all the water it's time to get the dough out and "knead" it on a clean, floured surface. If you are not very familiar with the subject I can say that you should "work" the dough so that it becomes compact and homogeneous.
Once we notice that the dough is ready, pour some oil on a pizza dish and put the dough on it. If you push the dough into the pizza dish it will start to move out towards the edges. The idea is to continue to maintain the circular shape and for the pizza dough to stay like this (or prettier on the edges).
If we look closely we can see the fingerprints.
Cook on both sides for 10 minutes per side over medium heat (essential for the dough to be cooked through) and then we add sauce and mozzarella. And back in the oven for 5 minutes.
Take the pizza out of the oven and add the olives. If you prefer your olives hot you can put it back in the oven for another 2 minutes, otherwise leave them cold.
And that is it! Here you have an easy unleavened pizza prepared and ready to eat.
Look at the bottom of the pizza dough to see if it has browned, and there you have it!
I hope you liked this step by step recipe and of course I also hope you tell me how this easy unleavened pizza dough turned out.
