The first thing to do to fry an egg in the microwave is to break the egg and carefully put it in a bowl taking care as not to break it; the bowl or cup should have a slightly large base so that the fried egg takes the shape you want.Add a little salt so that the fried egg has a little more flavor.

Put the bowl with the egg in the microwave for 40 seconds, on medium power and keep on checking that the egg is cooking properly. To check that the egg is well cooked you can pinch the fried egg and if the fork comes out clean it is done; otherwise, keep cooking it in the microwave at 5 second intervals.

After these 40 or 50 seconds you will have a perfectly fried egg from your microwave, there's no mess and it's very healthy as it's not fried in oil. To take it out of the bowl you can use a spoon underneath the egg with a little bit of black pepper or butter.
