Matcha is the new craze in the beverage world, but most people are confused as to the actual meaning of matcha. Matcha is actually powdered tea of very high quality. When you order traditional green tea, the tea leaves are infused and then discarded. But with matcha the fine powder is made into tea solution instead of being infused and hence you drink actual tea leaves. If you don't really enjoy drinking tea you can still benefit from it in your diet incorporating it in a green tea matcha brownie.
