How much to take

First of all, it is important to know how much of chlorella powder is enough for your overall health. If you are taking it in powder form, 1-2 tsp is enough for adults, and 1 tsp for children. If you are taking 500mg tablets, adults can take 6 tablets in a day, and children can be given 2-4 tablets. 600mg capsules are also available, which can be taken 5-7 capsules by adults only. If you are taking chlorella in tablet or capsule form, you can simply take it with juice or water about 30 minutes before food. But if you are choosing the powder form, you will have to find ways to include it in your food. Here are some ways to use chlorella powder and take advantage of its many health benefits.

Any smoothie recipe’s health quotient can be enhanced by adding a teaspoon of chlorella powder to it. Combine fruits like mangoes or bananas in a blender with juice, milk or water, and add 1 tsp of chlorella powder to it. Mix some chlorella powder in olive oil, garlic, pine nuts, lemon juice or cheese, and make a pesto chlorella sauce with it.

If you bake muffins, cookies, cake, zucchini bread or banana bread, add 2 tsp of the powder into your baking flour. Combine chlorella powder in tahini paste and honey, and make a sweet cream with it that you can drizzle over anything.
