How to make garlic and parsley sauce
Garlic and parsley sauce is a great sauce to accompany meat dishes, fish and salads. It is a classic and a real treat for those who love the taste of raw garlic, because you get to add as much as you want. The first step for making this garlic and parsley sauce is to prepare all the ingredients. Cut a sprig of parsley using a knife and peel and chop 1 to 2 cloves of garlic, depending on the intensity of the flavour you want in the end.
When you have finished, put 100 ml extra virgin olive oil in a bowl suitable for mixing. Then add the garlic and parsley you just chopped. Mix these ingredients for a few seconds so they begin to mix.
Then add a pinch of salt and some black pepper. This step is completely optional, so if you do not like the taste that pepper adds to sauces, do not include it. Whisk all the ingredients until they are a smooth and homogeneous cream.
It's that simple, and you'll have your perfect garlic and parsley sauce ready to accompany all the dishes you want. Check the taste of the salt before serving, if you want to, add a little more. Although we used a blender to make the sauce in this recipe, you can also do this by hand using a mortar if you prefer.
