The fisrt step you need to take in order to make peach juice with fresh peaches is to cut the peaches in to pieces that are not too large, approximately 4 centimeters wide and 2 centimeters thick.
Put the peach slices in a large saucepan, so you can make a large amount of peach juice.
Add water to nearly fill the pot, leaving about 4 cm to the edge of the pot.
The next step will be to add 1 kilo of sugar so your peach juice tastes sweeter.
Then, leave to boil for approximately 40-50 minutes, so that the pieces are soften up.
Once this time has passed, stop the heat and let it cool slightly, wait for about 10 minutes.
Then you must crush the pieces of peach until it is fine. You can do so with a blender or even with a potato masher, though your will have to sieve it to create a finer texture if that is the case.
Put the crushed peach in glass jars so water will not filter in. Put them side by side in a saucepan and fill it with water so that the pots are mostly covered.
Boil the jars with the peach in a water bath, also known as 'bain marie' for 10 minutes.
Take the jars from the heat carefully so you don't burn your fingers. The best idea is to let them rest so they cool down a bit before moving them. Use some strong tongs or a cloth to make sure you don't burn yourself.
And now your peach juice is ready!
