Making Orange Mousse
Orange is a citrus fruit with magnificent properties, nutritious and rich in minerals and vitamins that are essential to maintain a strong and healthy immune system. The first step in making this orange mousse is to grate the skin of one of the oranges that you will use. Use a kitchen grater for it and try to find one that is quite thin. When you are finished, place a saucepan on the hob, put half a glass of water on to boil and add sugar and orange zest together to boil for about 5 minutes.
With a juicer, extract the juice from the oranges and pour it in a bowl in which you can add other ingredients. Then add condensed milk and whisk all the ingredients with a whisk or an electric beater.
Once you have finished whisking, dilute the gelatin sheets putting them for 10 minutes in a container with a little cold water, then add them to the mixture of orange juice with condensed milk.
Again use the whisk to beat the egg whites until stiff and add them to the container with the mixture. Stir all the ingredients with a wooden spoon or spatula until smooth.
Finally, you just have to pour the orange mousse into small moulds and place in the refrigerator. When cool, you are ready to serve and enjoy its incredible texture and flavour.
